My Mom loves Thanksgiving. It’s her favorite holiday. I have wonderful memories of this day and how mirthful (what?!) it can be. I feel truly blessed…God has been good to me. So, here are 10 things that are making me smile on this Thanksgiving.
> Children who laugh!
> My wife Tonia. She’s absolutely incredible.
> Walks along the beach. I’m being serious (see the picture). We just walked along the beach for the first time on a Thanksgiving. Gorgeous!
> Coffee. It’s still a gift.
> ValleyPoint Church. Thanks for loving me. You’re the best…love you!
> The northeast. This is just a great place to live. Love it!
> Family. I’m serious about this one too! We’re spending Thanksgiving with some of Tonia’s family this year. We don’t always get that chance. It’s been memorable.
> My six kids. I never thought I would have this many bodies running around my house. Can’t picture it any other way.
> Mentors. I’ve had great coaches in my life. Roger Evans, Jill Johnson, Larry Chute, Brian Pipping, Diane Pipping, Duane Boyett, Bob Schrock, Clayton Bjurstrom, Dwight Gipson, Gus Sareyka, Lee White, and Rodgers & Hammerstein (OK…no Rodgers & Hammerstein). Your investment cannot be described.
> Extras. I have more than I need…much more.
What are your 10 things?

We are thankful for some of those very mentors, also. And coffee. And your kids. And that you live in the northeast. Come visit us.
Hi Grace! Great to hear from you. We’ll have to plan a visit. It would be great to see you guys!
